Bhubaneswar, Oct 21: 524 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1037056 on Thursday.

From these fresh cases, 308 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 216 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 82 more youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

Besides, 61 cases were reported from the State pool.
