Bluetooth headphone explosion kills 15-year-old boy

Jaipur: A 15-year-old boy died here after his Bluetooth headphone device detonated, in what is likely the first incidence of its sort in the country. The boy died of heart arrest, according to physicians.

Rakesh Nagar, a resident of Udaipuria hamlet in Jaipur's Chomu neighbourhood, was using his Bluetooth earphones to talk on the phone when the device detonated. Rakesh was brought to Siddhivinayak Hospital right away, where he died during treatment, according to Times Now.

“This is most likely the first incidence of its kind in the country... Dr LN Rundla was cited as saying, "The young man died possibly due to heart arrest."

The explosion had damaged both of the young man's ears.
