Actor Lipsa Mishra gets hitched To Akash Acharya

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actress Lipsa Mishra, married Akash Acharya on Monday night at a private hotel in Odisha's capital.

Akash, a mechanical engineer, has an MBA in marketing and is currently running his family's business. "I found my match in Akash and will work hard to fulfill my responsibilities as a wife and daughter-in-law," Lipsa said.

She looked ravishing in a quintessential red lehenga with chooda, kalire, and heavy jewellery complementing her entire ensemble, while Akash opted for a cream Sabyasachi sherwani and topped it off with a gem studded heavy border dupatta on silk fabric.

The couple was blessed by Odia and Hindi film industry actors and filmmakers who attended their 'big night'.

Lipsa had previously posted clips from her bachelorette party and Haldi ceremony to her Instagram account. She and Akash also had a lavish pre-wedding photo shoot.

Lipsa, a popular film and television actress, made her television debut in "Kichhi Luha Piejae Otha," and her role in "Khushi" catapulted her to stardom. She continued her legacy with 'Toh Aganara Tulasi Mu,' the longest-running television show in Odisha Television history.

With 'Maya,' she made her debut in the Odia film industry. Pilata Bigidigala (2015), Maya (2015), Samaya Bada Balban (2016), Tokata Fasigala (2018), 4 Idiots (2018), Queen (2019), Adrushyam (2020), Ardhangini (2021), and Prema Na Pagalapana are some of her other notable films (2020).

For her outstanding performance in 'Rangeela Bohu,' she received the Odisha State Awards' Best Actress Award in the film category last year.

The actor has appeared in several Hindi and Odia music videos and also owns Lipsa Mishra Productions, which she founded in 2018.
