Bhubaneswar: On Monday night, a Plus III girl student at a private college in Gothapatna, Odisha's capital, was discovered hanging inside the educational institution's hostel.

Archana Das has been identified as the deceased.

She was a second-year Science student who allegedly hung herself from the hostel room ceiling with a saree. According to sources, Chandaka police recovered the body for postmortem examination, while a scientific team arrived on the scene to collect evidence.
