3 Killed as Truck Hits Autorickshaw in Kalahandi District
On Tuesday, a truck struck an autorickshaw killed at least three persons and badly injured six others in a village in Odisha's Kalahandi district's Junagarh area.
Bhawanipatna: On Tuesday, a truck struck an autorickshaw killed at least three persons and badly injured six others in a village in Odisha's Kalahandi district's Junagarh area.
The accident occurred near Dasigaon hamlet in the district's Junagarh Block. When the tragedy occurred, the autorickshaw transporting passengers from Thuamul Rampur block was on its way to Junagarh, according to sources.
At Chikili Chhak, the truck collided with a three-wheeler. Nine individuals were critically injured, including the autorickshaw driver.
After being notified, police officers from the Chiliguda station arrived and transported all of the injured people to the Kalampur Community Health Centre (CHC), where three of them were declared dead. The others are being treated.
The victims have yet to be identified, and authorities are investigating the event.
