Naveen Patnaik approves the creation of 663 positions in 3 IR Battalions
Bhubaneswar: On Wednesday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik approved the formation of 663 security company positions in 3 Indian Reserve battalions.
In each of the battalions, 221 security coy roles would be created, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO). These include the deputy commandant (91), the havildar major (18), the havildar (23), the constable (154), the inspector (1 WT), the sub-inspector (2 WT), the havildar (4 WT), the constable (13 WT), the head clerk (1 WT), the medical officer (1 WT), the pharmacist (2 WT), and the staff nurse (1 WT) (1).
In addition, 132 assistant positions in total, 44 for each unit, have been created. According to the statement, these positions would be filled through outsourcing.
