Porn Case: Shilpa Shetty Tells Mumbai Cops That Erotica Isn't Porn

Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty, a Bollywood actress, has denied any participation with the HotShots app, which her husband, Raj Kundra, allegedly used to stream pornographic films.

According to media sources, Shilpa told the Mumbai Crime Branch that she had no idea what HotShots was about.

Shilpa and Kundra's Juhu home was raided by a Crime Branch team on Friday evening, she added.

Shilpa defended her husband by stating he was not involved in the creation of pornographic material. She also stated that erotica is not the same as porn.

At the same time, the actress accused Kundra's brother-in-law, Pradeep Bakshi, of controlling the app and overseeing its activities.

Shilpa had resigned from her husband's Viaan Industries and walked away from her role in ongoing entertainment endeavours, including a TV reality show and an in-development film, when the matter became public.
