Cuttack: On Sunday, two little sisters reportedly drowned in a pond in Banamalipur village, Nischintakoili block, Cuttack district, Odisha.
According to reports, the two children, ages 9 and 5, were playing near the village pond early in the morning. They later went missing, and a search was initiated to find them.
Their family members and townspeople combed the area for them and eventually discovered their dead floating in the pond.
The two were pulled from the river and sent to Nischintakoili Hospital, where physicians pronounced them dead.
