Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted another aerial survey today of areas in the state affected by Cyclone ‘Dana.’
Accompanied by Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari and senior officials, the Chief Minister surveyed the cyclone-hit districts of Balasore and Mayurbhanj. This marks his second aerial survey following Cyclone Dana.
Previously, on Sunday, the Chief Minister had surveyed the affected areas in Kendrapara and Bhadrak districts.
He also assessed the situation at Habelikhati Nature Camp in the Bhitarkanika area of Kendrapara district, where Cyclone Dana made landfall around midnight on October 24.
After completing the aerial survey, the Chief Minister reviewed the damage during a meeting at the SRC office. Notably, he has directed officials to prepare a damage assessment report by November 2, which will facilitate the disbursement of compensation to those affected.
