Balasore: On Wednesday, a girl who received a second division in Plus II Science miraculously survived an alleged suicide attempt in Odisha's Balasore district.
The student, identified as Itishree of Simulia village under Nilagiri NAC, went to her house's terrace and jumped off the three-story building, distraught over her grades. Her family members rushed her to Nilagiri hospital after she sustained severe injuries. However, as her condition worsened, she was transferred to the district headquarters hospital, according to sources.
The results were announced at 11 a.m. by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education.
