Bhubaneswar: A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck Odisha's Koraput district early Friday morning.

The earthquake struck at 5.05 a.m. and was located at a depth of 5 km, according to the National Center for Seismology.

Tremors were felt in the Narayanpatna, Laxmipur, and Bandhugaon areas, and people were seen fleeing their homes. According to sources, they also heard roaring sounds.

There has been no report of casualties or property damage.
