No More Weekend Shutdown, Fresh Guidelines issued

Bhubaneswar: On Tuesday, the Odisha government reduced the lockdown rules even more by lifting the weekend shutdown in three cities: Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Puri.
The State's night curfew would remain in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. in all urban areas, he said.
During the month of September, restrictions on religious, social, and political gatherings will remain in place.
Weddings, funerals, and similar rituals can have up to 250 people, as long as they follow Covid-19 requirements like wearing masks and maintaining social distance. Previously, weddings and funerals were limited to 25 people for weddings and 20 for funerals.
In accordance with Covid-19 standards, cinema halls and auditoriums will be filled to capacity.
