559 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

559 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Bhubaneswar, Oct 20: 559 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1036532 on Wednesday.

From these fresh cases, 321 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 238 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 71 more youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

16. Khurda: 279 

17. Koraput: 6 

18. Mayurbhanj: 8 

19. Nayagarh: 9 

20. Puri: 14 

21. Rayagada: 1 

22. Sambalpur: 16

23. Sundargarh: 10 

Besides, 68 cases were reported from the State pool.
