All Odisha Congress MLAs called to New Delhi for meeting

Bhubaneswar: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has ordered all nine Congress MLAs from Odisha to travel to Delhi, according to Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the party's Jeypore MLA.

The MLAs have been summoned to a crucial party meeting scheduled for Wednesday in Delhi.

The Congress members are expected to travel for Delhi on Tuesday evening, according to sources.

Bahinipati stated that the party's electoral strategy as well as the party's response to the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) notices to Rahul and Sonia Gandhi are likely to be discussed.

"The secretary of the AICC called me and told me that all legislators needed to be in Delhi by 6 p.m. today." The ED's letter to Sonia and Rahul is an attempt to instil terror among voters in the five states that will vote soon. "I believe an important meeting will take place tomorrow," Bahinipati said.

He also expects to talk about ways to boost the party in Odisha.

Rahul reported to the ED office on Tuesday for his sixth day of questioning in the National Herald case.
