Comedian Raju Srivastava passes away at 58

New Delhi: At the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, where he had been receiving treatment for more than a month, well-known comedian Raju Srivastava passed away. He was 58.

On Wednesday, the report was corroborated by family members.

Raju's health has changed during the last five weeks. Raju has been on popular comedy programmes like Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show, and The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.

On August 10, while exercising at the gym, he had a heart arrest and was sent to AIIMS. After 15 days on a ventilator, he regained consciousness. On September 1, however, he was once more placed on ventilator support.
