According to sources, three people sleeping on the first floor of a private building noticed smoke coming from the AC around 6 a.m. They immediately notified the Fire Department. Those trapped, including a woman and a child, were brought out of the house's first-floor balcony using a ladder. The two Fire Service teams, totaling 13 personnel, extinguished the flames in a matter of hours.
The rescued individuals initially complained of respiratory issues. According to the sources, their condition is now stable.
The fire is thought to have been caused by a short circuit.
