488 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

488 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: 488 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1041457 on Sunday.

From these fresh cases, 285 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 203 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 77 more youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

13. Kendrapada: 8 

14. Keonjhar: 1 

15. Khurda: 250 

16. Koraput: 1 

17. Mayurbhanj: 19 

18. Nayagarh: 2 

19. Nuapada: 1 

20. Puri: 15 

21. Rayagada: 6 

22. Sambalpur: 13

23. Sundargarh: 13  

Besides, 53 cases were reported from the State pool.
