625 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

625 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Bhubaneswar, Aug 24: 625 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1002323 on Tuesday.

From these fresh cases, 366 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 259 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 80 more youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

16. Keonjhar: 18 

17. Khurda: 214 

18. Koraput: 11 

19. Malkangiri: 1 

20. Mayurbhanj: 7

21. Nayagarh: 10 

22. Nuapada: 1 

23. Puri: 29 

24. Rayagada: 12 

25. Sambalpur: 18 

26. Sundargarh: 6  

Besides, 48 cases were reported from the State pool.
