Bhubaneswar: On the proposal of OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik, the All-India Mahila Congress has nominated new members for various positions in the Odisha Mahila Congress and presidents of organisational districts.
According to a news statement from state Mahila Congress president Bandita Parida, the unit has nominated 70 leaders to various positions.
The Odisha Mahila Congress has selected 22 leaders as members of the executive committee and 15 as special invitees.
While ten women have been nominated for vice president, 11 have been nominated as general secretaries, and 48 have been nominated as secretaries.
The names of the presidents of the Odisha Mahila Congress's 33 organisational districts have also been declared by the central leadership.
