8 injured as OSRTC bus hits stationary truck in Sambalpur
At least eight people were injured, some critically, when a state-owned Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus collided with a stationary truck in Odisha's Sambalpur district early Saturday morning.

Sambalpur: At least eight people were injured, some critically, when a state-owned Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) bus collided with a stationary truck in Odisha's Sambalpur district early Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred on a bypass road of National Highway No. 53 in the Jamankira police station area while the OSRTC bus was traveling to Balangir from Keonjhar.
The injured were rescued and transported to a hospital in Jamankira. Because their condition was critical, some of them, including the bus driver, were transferred to VIMSAR, Burla for treatment.
After receiving information, a team of police officers rushed to the scene and began an investigation into the incident.
The accident occurred shortly after a head-on collision between an OSRTC bus and a minibus near Digapahandi in Ganjam district on June 24.
