870 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

870 MORE TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Bhubaneswar, Aug 4: 870 Covid-19 positive cases were found in the State in the last 24 hours, thereby taking the total infection count in the state to 1316473 on Thursday. 

From these fresh cases, 509 were detected from quarantines whereas the rest 361 came as the local contacts.

Similarly, today 157 youngsters aged 0 to 18 years were found to be infected with Covid-19.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 30 districts of the State.

25. Rayagada: 14

26. Sambalpur: 72

27. Sonepur: 17

28. Sundargarh: 220

Besides, 27 cases were reported from the State pool.
