Lawyer killed, journalist injured in separate accidents in Balasore

Balasore: Three people were murdered in three different accidents in Balasore, one a prominent lawyer, and two others were badly injured.
Panchanan Parida was named as the lawyer. He was reportedly out for a morning walk when he was struck by a car. According to reports, the driver was in the process of learning to drive.
Two people perished and another was badly injured in a separate accident in Bhimpur when their motorcycle collided with a road divider. The three were transported to the District Headquarters Hospital, where two of them were declared dead on arrival by medics.
A journalist named Ubachaka Mohanty was critically hurt in another accident near Balasore station chhak when he was hit by an unknown car. He was taken to a hospital in Balasore and afterwards transferred to Bhubaneswar.
