More Than 150 Ashram School Girls Hospitalized After having Hostel Lunch

Sundergarh: A hospital in Odisha's Sundargarh district has received more than 150 girls from an ashram school who became ill after having lunch there.
After having lunch at the hostel on Tuesday, children from Phatatanga Ashram School in the Koida block reported experiencing vomiting and dysentery. The students were sent to the hospital as their condition deteriorated.
They were later moved to the Bonai Sub-Divisional Hospital. Five were reportedly later sent to the Rourkela Government Hospital.
At the ashram school, around 200 females attend classes.
