Meet Hardik, an Odisha wonder kid with exceptional memory abilities

Kandhamal: He hasn't even reached the age of five. He does, however, have exceptional recall and intelligence for a child of his age. Meet Kandhamal's Hardik Kumar Nayak.
Hardik appears to be a typical village kid who enjoys playing. However, if you ask him the capital of any Indian state, he will promptly respond with the correct answer. He can also pronounce the names of several countries and their regions with ease.
When a youngster is too young to say his name, he or she can recite Shlokas and Mantras with clarity and proper pronunciation. It's no surprise that he is well-liked and adored by everyone in the hamlet.
Hardik, a four-and-a-half-year-old from Dadapada village in G Udayagiri block, attends an Anganwadi centre. His father, Ranjit Nayak, works as a daily wage labourer, while his mother is a stay-at-home mom.
Hardik's father is a proud father, yet he is concerned about his son's future. “Hardik can recall a lot of things thanks to his incredibly strong memory. He will, without a doubt, thrive in his education and achieve life success. But, with my meagre income, how can I assure that he has a proper education?” Ranjit wondered.
“Hardik is adored by everyone in our village. He is a gifted young man. However, if he does not receive appropriate patronage, his talent may be wasted. The government should lend a hand in nurturing his skill so that he can become a successful man and make his parents proud in the future,” said the secretary of Antaranga Yuva Mahasangh, a local youth organisation.
