Koraput: Anwita Mishra, who is only five and a half years old, has already been inducted into the famous India Book of Records.

In 40 seconds, this remarkable boy from Jeypore remembered the names of 48 Asian countries and their capitals. In 34 seconds, she can name all 50 states and union territories, as well as their capitals.

Anwita lives in Raju Sahi, Jeypore, as the daughter of Shankar Mishra and Madhusmita Panigrahi.

She is a UKG student with a good memory and can fluently chant mantras that she remembered while listening to her grandma.

“When I realised Anwita could memorise things quickly, I started teaching her about countries and their capitals. Then I took her video and sent it to the India Book of Records. We recently received an India Book of Records certificate, a medal, and a book,” said Madhusmita, a schoolteacher.

“We are quite pleased of what she has accomplished at such a young age. We never put any pressure on her to learn new things. She recalls them from when she was a kid,” she continued.
