COVID Immunity To Be Tested In 12 Districts In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The state of Odisha will conduct a serological survey in 12 districts to determine the age-specific prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies among residents and healthcare personnel.
Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Khurda, Puri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jaipur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur are the 12 districts chosen for the survey.
In a letter to Director of Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra issued the direction.
The survey's cost of Rs 57,70,500 will be covered by the Public Health Response Fund, according to Mohapatra (PHRF).
The letter, on the other hand, made no mention of the survey's start date.
