Padampur MLA Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha dies at 64

Bhubaneswar: Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha, a former minister and BJD state legislator from Odisha's Padampur district, passed suddenly on Sunday night in a private hospital in the state capital. He was 64.
Bariha was receiving medical care at the hospital for problems with her kidneys.
He won five elections from the Padampur district to the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
Bariha's mortal remains would be brought to the Odisha Assembly and the BJD headquarters to allow representatives from all political parties to pay respects to the late leader. Then, his remains would be transported to his Padampur ancestral home.
