Patient’s attendant stabbed to death by looters in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: On Thursday morning, a patient's relative was found slain inside the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla, Odisha's Sambalpur district.

The deceased had gone to the Garadapali canal near VIMSAR to listen to nature's call, according to sources.

Police believe he was slain when the perpetrators were attempting to plunder him. The body was covered in scars. So far, no arrests have been made.
