Rave Party On Cruise Ship: SRK’s Son Aryan Khan & 2 Others Arrested By NCB

Mumbai: On Sunday, after searches on a purported rave party on a ship off the coast of Mumbai last night, the Bureau of Narcotics Control (NCB) detained three people including Aryan Khan's son Shah Rukh Khan.

Aryan was detained in accordance with Section 27 of the NDPS according to the media (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act). Shortly after his arrest, he was brought to JJ Hospital for medical evaluation together with Arbaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.

After the recovery of illicit substances during a party, many persons were arrested for interrogation.

NCB Zonal Manager Sameer Wankhede in Mumbai had previously stated that Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohack Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker and Gomit Chopra had been questioned by this agency with regard to the rave party.

“We are acting in an impartial manner. In the process, if some connections to Bollywood or rich people emerge, so be it. We have to act within the purview of the law,” NCB Chief S N Pradhan had told the media.

After a tip-off about a rave party organising aboard a cruise ship to sail for Goa on Saturday evening, employees of the anti-drug agency took the boat under disguise as passengers.

Cordelia Cruises, in the meantime, published a statement stating that it had hired their ship to a firm located in Delhi for a private event. "We are providing our full assistance to the authorities and collaborating with them," he continued.
