Popular singer KK dies in Kolkata at 53

Kolkata: On Tuesday night, Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, well known as KK, died after a concert in Kolkata. He was 53 years old at the time.
The singer, according to sources, became ill following an hour-long performance at Nazrul Mancha. He returned to his Esplanade hotel, where he expressed his unease. He had a major heart attack and was transported to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute around 10.30 p.m., but he was pronounced dead.
The musician, who is well known for songs like Yaaron, Tadap Tadap, and Labon Ko, had posted a few photos from his show on Instagram roughly 10 hours before his untimely death.
KK was a versatile vocalist who recorded songs in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali. His wife and son are his only survivors.
