New Delhi: Next week, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi will begin the second dose trial of Bharat Biotech's COVID-19 vaccine, Covaxin, for children aged 2 to 6.

The youngsters in the above-mentioned age bracket have already received the first dose of Covaxin, according to news agency ANI.

For those under the age of 18, AIIMS Delhi is a vaccination trial centre. Covaxin's second dose has already been given to youngsters aged 6 to 12 at AIIMS in Delhi, according to agency sources.

After all age groups have completed their testing, the clinical trial findings are expected in a month. The trial is being carried out in three stages, with youngsters being divided into various age groups.
