Southwest Monsoon Withdraws From Major Places In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: On Monday, according to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, the process of departure of Southwest Monsoon from Odisha began.
According to the statement, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Nuapada and major portions of the districts of Angul and Boudh were totally removed from the monsoon.
It also withdrew from several quarters in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal and Kalahandi.
The circumstances for further removal of the moonsoon from some additional regions of Odisha in the following two days were favoured, according to the statement.
