Bhubaneswar: Because of the improvement in the Covid-19 situation, the State Government asked all of its departments and subordinate offices to operate at full capacity until further orders.
“Most of the personnel are now fully vaccinated and are expected mandatorily to attend office on a regular basis,” the General Administration & Public Grievance Department stated in an order. If an employee is unable to get vaccinated due to medical or other compelling reasons, he or she must request to the Head of Office for an exemption.”
When such applications are received, the concerned office head will review them on a case-by-case basis. Employees who aren't vaccinated or exempt will be barred from working, and their absence will be viewed as willful, according to the order.
All State Government offices will be closed on Saturdays, as they were previously.
To prevent the spread of Covid infection, all government offices and personnel have been asked to take the necessary precautions.
“In the event that a Covid infection case is discovered in any office, the GA&PG Department's protocol shall be followed and notified to the appropriate head of office,” it stated.
