Suman Rudra of Rourkela shines in Athens' 'Greece Got Talent'

Rourkela: Suman Rudra, an Odia child who is passionate about dancing, is now competing in Athens for the title of 'Greece Got Talent.'

Suman graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, with a BTech degree in 2012. However, he was certain of his dance prowess. So, rather than taking up a professional employment in his industry as his parents intended, he followed his love and joined NIT, Rourkela as a dance lecturer.

After a year on the job, he pursued a PG Diploma in dance at the National School of Dance (KSOT) in Greece, which was financed by the Greek Ministry of Culture. He had previously taken a dance course at a Bengaluru institute.

He got into contact with the Dance Academy in Athens while pursuing his diploma. He put on a show there and went on to become a well-known dance choreographer.

Now, through Fast Bollywood Dance Academy, he is attempting to popularise Indian dance in other countries.

His father, Dillip Rudra, is a former Rourkela Steel PLant employee, while his mother, Krishan, is a stay-at-home mom.
