Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited poll-bound Jharkhand on Monday to campaign for BJP candidates. During his one-day trip, Majhi is scheduled to address two public meetings in the Seraikela-Kharsawan and West Singhbhum districts, which have a significant Odia-speaking population.

As one of the BJP's star campaigners for the Jharkhand elections, Majhi will be seeking votes in favor of party candidates in the Seraikela and Majhgaon assembly seats. Hailing from a Santali tribal family, he aims to resonate with both tribal and Odia voters in Jharkhand to garner support for the BJP.

Additionally, Union Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan is also a key campaigner for the BJP in the Jharkhand polls. Alongside Majhi and Pradhan, several BJP MLAs from Odisha and ministers from bordering districts are actively campaigning for the party's candidates in Jharkhand.
