Bhubaneswar: Veteran Odia actor Raimohan Parida is thought to have killed himself today at his home in Bhubaneswar's Prachi Vihar. Unknown factors may have contributed to the actor's suicide.
The seasoned actor was discovered this morning hanging from the ceiling of his bedroom, according to the information. The Mancheswar police arrived at the scene after being alerted and took the body away for a post-mortem.
For his derogatory roles in Odia films, Raimohan Parida was well-known. He also performed in a lot of Odia Jatra (Opera) plays.
The loss of one of its pillars caused a pall of doom to cover the Odia film industry.
