Bhubaneswar: A flight reportedly returned to Bhubaneswar after being unable to land at Jeypore Airport in Odisha's Koraput district on Sunday due to bad weather.

According to sources, the nine-seater aircraft that took off from Bhubaneswar did not receive the necessary permission from Air Traffic Control (ATC) to land at Jeypore Airport.

As a result, the IndiaOne Air flight returned to Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar after spending some time hovering over Jeypore Airport, they said.

It was raining in Jeypore, and the flight was denied permission to land at the airport, so it returned to Bhubaneswar due to a lack of fuel.

Passengers claimed that flights between Bhubaneswar and Jeypore had been canceled several times recently.
