Rourkela: According to sources, Rourkela Police arrested People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) area commander Nelson Gudia and one of his associates on Tuesday.
They were found to be in possession of two pistols and live bullets.
According to the sources, they were apprehended on Monday during a raid by a special team of Rourkela police in the Bharulata area within the Bisra police station limits. The two were allegedly involved in violence, extortion, and murder attempts in the Odisha-Jharkhand border towns of Bisra, Jareikela, and Bhalulata. More investigation is being conducted.
