Bhubaneswar: Increasing its attack on the Odisha government over various rackets, Congress claimed on Thursday that the ruling BJD is involved in all job scams in the state, and that the issue will be raised in the Assembly.
Santosh Singh Saluja, a Congress MLA, launched a stinging attack on the ruling BJD, accusing it of meddling with the futures of deserving students.
Saluja's remarks came shortly after the Central Goods and Services Tax (GST) department raided the Vanik Institute premises for alleged tax evasion.
The Congress legislator claimed that students who enroll in the institute are guaranteed government jobs, and that Vanik CMD Subrat Chhatoi is a member of the BJD's IT cell.
"It demonstrates that BJD is involved in all of the state's fake job racket cases." "We will raise the issue in the Assembly," the Congress MLA said, adding that all those involved in the scam must be investigated.
