BJP MLA Bishnu Sethi passes away at 61

Bhubaneswar: Bishnu Sethi, a prominent member of the BJP in Odisha and a Dhamnagar MLA, passed away on Monday. He was 61.
Sethi passed away while receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Bhubaneswar.
The legislator spent the previous month in the hospital's ICU due to kidney-related conditions.
Sethi served as the vice president of the state BJP unit and the deputy leader of the opposition in the Odisha Assembly.
In 2000, he was elected to the Assembly from Chandbali, and in 2019 he was elected from Dhamnagar. Sethi, who was born in Tihidi in the Bhadrak district in 1961, was also a poet and author.
