Titlagarh: Hundreds of aspirants who were denied the opportunity to sit the Revenue Inspector exam in Titlagarh, Odisha's Balangir district, on Sunday will now take it in the district headquarters.

According to sources, the applicants appeared at the Government Women's College in Titlagarh this morning based on the information on their admit cards.

The main gate of the college was locked, much to their dismay. When they inquired of the college principal, he stated that he had not received any news that the examination would be held in this college.

The unfortunate applicants afterwards reported the occurrence to the district authorities.

Manoj Mahajan, the Titlagarh sub-collector, met with the aspirants and told them that they will take the exam at the Government Women's College in Balangir town.

A special bus was ordered by the district administration to transport them to Balangir town.

“Even though the exam's allocated time slot has passed, they will be permitted to take the exam beginning at 12 p.m.,” says Mahajan.
