Body of missing woman found floating in Baitarini River in Bhadrak

Bhadrak: In the Bhadrak district of Odisha, the body of an elderly woman who had gone missing after being washed away in the Baitarani river was found on Sunday.
Phula Dhal, a woman from Raghunathpur village in the Bhandaripokhari region, was taking a bath on Saturday when she was washed away in the river.
Family members conducted a search operation with the assistance of the villagers, according to sources, but they were unable to find her. It was assumed that the woman had fallen into the deep water and been carried away by the river current because her saree was discovered on the river bank at adjacent Akhua Sahi.
Firefighters searched after being notified, but they were unable to find the woman last night. When the search effort started up again on Sunday, the team found and recovered the body.
