Sonepur: Unfortunately, under unknown circumstances a CRPF jawan was found dead, having set foot from Nagaland on a journey home to attend the death of his mother.

According to reliable sources, on October 1 the CRPF Jawan identified himself as a Pratap Nayak of Majhipada in the district of Sonepur. He supposed to get home on October 4, but his family members called his postal station and discovered that he had gone to his house when the appointed time did not arrive.

Following an investigation at GRP Police Station in Bhubaneswar, the family members filed the complaint. In regions through which the train runs, the GRP authorities called their colleagues.

During the investigation, the identification can be determined in the vicinity of railway tracks at Lumding in Assam. The family members of Pratap, who recognised it as their son, had received a picture.

Even though it is still not known the reason of Pratap's death, his family has allegedly killed him and called for a high-level inquiry.
