Centre sanctions 87 Ekalavya residential schools for Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The number of Ekalavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) approved by the Center for Odisha is the highest of any state in the nation at 87.
At an EMRS coordination meeting on Wednesday in New Delhi, Jal Shakti Bishweswar Tudu and Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs made this revelation. Mayurbhanj has received the most school approvals of any district in Odisha, with 19 approved for the district.
The minister was informed that 45 out of the 87 schools' "bhoomi puja" have already been finished during the review of the state of the construction of these schools.
He discussed the challenges involved in building some schools, such as acquiring property, removing trees, and increasing costs because of the terrain's hills. He gave the officials orders to resolve any issue and get the construction project up quickly.
