Viral Video: A group beating a youth in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: Another video of a group of youths smoking ganja and beating up a boy has appeared in Malkangiri, following the KBN gang in Bhubaneswar and the 'Public Sandha' and 'Amania Bagha' in Cuttack.

The video, which has gone popular on social media, shows a group of 5-6 young people gathered in a deserted and dilapidated structure. They've also been caught on camera smoking ganja in cigarettes.

After some time, they are seen yelling obscenities at a young man who is ringed by them and brutally hitting him with bare hands, cricket stumps, rods, and other weapons. The victim's words are not audible.

When contacted, SDPO Abhilash stated that the video had been taken into consideration by the police, and that an inquiry was underway to identify the youths. He added the teenagers are believed to have escaped to Nabarangpur and then to Andhra Pradesh, and that a search effort is underway to find them.

It should be remembered that Malgodown police in Cuttack arrested six people on Thursday, including a girl, after a video of youngsters brandishing weapons and using profane language went viral.

While the video was shared on Instagram under the name 'Public Sandha,' another video titled 'Amania Bagha' circulated as well.

After a video depicting over two dozen members brandishing sharp weapons and a gun, driving an SUV, and dancing in the middle of the road went viral in Bhubaneswar, the 'Koi Bhai Nahin' (KBN) gang snatched the crime spotlight.
