Collision between two bikes kills 3, leaves one critical in Ganjam

Berhampur: Two motorbikes collided head-on on Thursday in the Ganjam region of Odisha, resulting in three immediate fatalities and numerous serious injuries.

Bulu Swain, Pilli Mallick, and Bhagirathi Muli, all residents of Radhakrushnapur village in the district's Sorada block, have been named as the deceased.

Pratap Gouda, the injured guy, is fighting for his life at Berhampur's MKCG Medical College and Hospital.

According to accounts, the incident happened close to Bhalipada hamlet within the boundaries of the district's Sorada police station. Bulu and Pilli were travelling in a different motorcycle in the opposite direction as Pratap and Bhagirathi were travelling to Sorada. Three people were killed instantly when the two bikes collided close to Bhalipada.

After being alerted, Saroda Police and local firefighters arrived to the scene and saved Pratap, who was in serious condition. At first, Pratap was taken urgently to Saroda Community Health Center. He was sent to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur after receiving primary care. When the most recent information arrived, it was noted that his health was critical.

The Saroda Police opened an investigation into the incident and filed a case in this regard.
