Malkangiri: Security officers discovered a sizable stockpile of weapons, explosives, and other goods during a Friday search operation in the Malkangiri district of Odisha. Maoists allegedly abandoned the items.

According to sources, on October 19 Malkangiri Police conducted a thorough search and area domination in the general vicinity of Tulsi Reserve forest under Mathili police boundaries bordering Chhattisgarh.

After a thorough search lasting two days, a large Maoist storage facility was discovered close to a forested area of Katwapadar village in the Kartanpalli gramme panchayat. Many IEDs, weapons, laptops/notebooks, multimeters, medications, and oral contraceptives demonstrate the exploitative nature of cadres toward women, and other incriminating items were found there.

It is believed that both security personnel and civilians were the targets of these articles.
