Draupadi Murmu arrives in homeland; given grand reception

Bhubaneswar: Droupadi Murmu, the NDA's presidential candidate, was greeted warmly upon her arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the state's capital on Friday. She was driven from the airport to the state guest house.
She would ask MPs and MLAs in Odisha to support her candidacy during her visit. Election day for the presidency is July 18.
She later arrived at the Odisha Assembly's conference room with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, where she met BJD MPs and MLAs. Droupadi also spoke with BJP lawmakers.
