Murmu takes lunch with Odisha CM; seeks electoral support

Bhubaneswar: Droupadi Murmu, a candidate for the NDA presidential nomination, met with Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over lunch on Friday after meeting with BJD and BJP legislators in the state Assembly.

In addition to Murmu, MP for Puri Pinaki Mishra and Union minister Gajendra Singh Sekhawat attended the lunch that the CM gave at Naveen Niwas.

Rice, dal, baigana bhaja, alu bharta, and badi chura, among other traditional dishes from Odisha, were served.

On Friday, Droupadi landed in Bhubaneswar to look for support for her candidacy.
