Electric scooter burnt to ashes as battery explodes in Sonepur

Sonepur: On Monday morning, an electric scooter was burned to ashes after a battery explosion in front of the Ulunda block office in Odisha's Sonepur district.
According to authorities, the battery detonated after Ulunda resident Rabi Narayan Senapati stopped his two-wheeler in front of a shop and went inside to make some purchases. The scooter caught fire and was burnt before firefighters arrived. The cause of the explosion has yet to be determined.
